How do I become a 3M Club Member?

All 3M employees can become a member to take advantage of having access to events, activities, sports, group discounts and tickets. The goal of the 3M Club of St. Paul is to provide an enjoyable networking experience for members, their family and friends. To become a member, please click and complete this FORM. 3M Club Target Center Suite Changes

3M Club of St. Paul Members,

You asked, we listened! We’ve heard a lot of Club members ask for food and beverages during Timberwolves Games.

Starting October 1, 2023 3M Club of St. Paul will no longer have a suite at the Target Center. We’ve found a better option for fans that includes food, beverages, wine, & beer in Club TI. As always ticket prices will vary dependent on the opponent.

We will also have upper-level seat options that are priced $30 or less per ticket for those not wanting a full-service experience.

MN Lynx season tickets through August 2023 will remain in the 3M Club Suite. For the 2024 season, 3M Club will be looking to purchase season tickets in the lower bowl.

With this new agreement, 3M Club will not have guaranteed access to concerts & other events at Target Center. 3M Club will do it’s best to get ticket options for events/concerts that our members want the most.

3M Club of St. Paul & Spin-off Changes

Hello 3M Club Members!

It is important to get information out to you regarding the upcoming spin-off of HealthCare from 3M.

3M Club of the US, Inc made the decision to include all ParentCo and SpinCo employees in 2024.

Decisions on how to move forward in 2025 will be made as more information becomes available.

Metro Dining Card

METRO DINING CARDS AVAILABLE NOW!

3M Club is again offering the Metro Dining Cards. These cards offer discounts/BOGOs at area restaurants each month from October 2023 through September 2024. Each box contains 138 cards/offerings and costs $30 a box. There is no limit to the number of boxes you may purchase. This is a great way to support your local area restaurants.

Metro Dining Cards are not mailed out. They may be purchased at Novation Credit Union; 500 Imperial Ave N in Oakdale MN during their office hours of 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday for $30 per set.

These will be available starting the week of October 12th. Stop in the lobby and inform the Teller you are interested in the Metro Dining Cards. Sports Leagues News

3M Club Basketball Registration is now open!!

Please use this form to register as a Team or as a Free Agent

Registration forms, rosters and signed waivers are due by Wednesday, Dec 20th.

• League will play on Monday nights, beginning January 8th and run through March 25th

• Games start at 7:00pm or 8:00pm

• 10 Regular season games followed by playoffs

• Schedules will be posted after registration closes in late December

• Games played at Concordia University Ganglehoff Center – 253 Hamline Ave. N., St. Paul, MN 55104

Teams should be composed of at least half 3M Employees/contract workers

Registration Fees:

• $675 for teams with less than 5 3M Club members

• $600 for teams with 5 or more 3M Club members

Activity Club Events & Happenings

The 3M Club Language Society offers weekly on-line classes in various languages taught by volunteer teachers. They are looking for new members, both as teachers and students. You can find out more at our website:

3M Homebrew Club

The next 3M Homebrew Club meeting will be in early February. The topic of the meeting will be “off flavors in beer” including a sensory evaluation. The date and location will be announced soon.

In this section, you’ll find opportunities to attend local sporting events, such as the MN Wild, MN Timberwolves, MN Twins and other professional/semi-professional sports in the Twin Cities.

Please note that despite measures to mitigate the transmission of COVID 19, total elimination of risk of exposure and infection to COVID-19 is currently not possible. Therefore, when attending any 3M Club sponsored or endorsed event, all attendees must assume the risk and liability for any exposure to COVID-19 and any related loss, liability, or injury incurred at any of these events at all times. Refunds will only be given in the event a performance/game is cancelled.

MN Timberwolves

New and exciting changes coming to 3M Club’s offerings for Timberwolves Games.

3M Club will now be offering tickets to Twolves games in CLUB TI. These tickets include food, beverages, wine, and beer. Seats are in the same level as our 3M Club suite was, but just the opposite side. Doors open 1 hour before tipoff during the week and 1.5 hours on weekend games. This is a great time to get to the Club early and enjoy the great amenities.

Volunteer Opportunities

Help out the kids at the Conway Center!

The Conway Center (located a couple blocks from the campus) is looking for help with the kids afterschool programs from 3-6pm. You can be there the whole time or just an hour, whatever you can give.

There is a variety of needs like homework help, crafting, food distribution, playing sports, technology (UX, design) etc. They need 1:1 help or they welcome groups to lead the kids through activities.

1. 3M Club Board of Directors is made up of all Volunteers. We are all full time 3Mers. Please be patient with us and make sure to read all details when emails and Yammer posts are sent to decrease any extra communication that tends to happen. When in doubt, email.
Membership
1. 3M Club Membership? Offerings posted on Yammer and in the Newsletter are for 3M Club members. If you are not a 3M Club member or are unsure of your membership, please check your January 3M paycheck to see if money was taken out for yearly 3M Club Dues.
1. Enjoy volunteering? We’re always looking for help at our various events and down the line may have openings on the 3M Club Board. Fill out this FORM if you are interested in the various volunteering events.
Ticketing
1. How do tickets get distributed? Tickets will be made available two ways; 1. Random Drawing 2. Direct Purchase. Most concert and events will be put to a random drawing first, and then opened up for direct purchase only after all members who had expressed interest in the event have had the opportunity to purchase tickets.
1. How are 3M Club tickets priced? Tickets are priced at the incurred cost to 3M Club plus a small percentage to help cover credit card fees. The goal is to provide the lowest possible cost while also ensuring the financial stability of the 3M Club.
1. What is the benefit of purchasing tickets through 3M Club? Most ticketing services (e.g., Ticketmaster or AXS) charge 15-20% in extra fees on top of the cost of the ticket. 3M Club also provides a direct contact for ticket support to resolve issues. Through our contracts with the Target Center and Xcel Center, 3M Club also provides an opportunity to experience a premium event experience in a suite that most members would not be able to have on their own.
1. Did the drawing for concert tickets happen? You will receive an email from the Venue owner only if you have WON tickets. If you did not win tickets, then you will not be contacted. If for some reason there are extra tickets, then the venue owner will reach out to those who put in a request. Also watch Yammer for last minute ticket updates.
1. What are my odds of being able to purchase tickets to the events I want? Odds can very greatly from event to event based upon demand but all members who enter a drawing are given equal odds of purchasing the ticket. 3M Club has a written process for randomizing an entry list.
1. What happens to any extra tickets to concerts & sporting events? Last minute tickets need to be purchased by a 3M Club Member. Non-3M Club members can attend these events. Prices for tickets will not be discounted.
1. Didn’t get your tickets for a game? Please make sure to reach out to your venue owner in enough time in case of technology issues. Life happens, we want you to enjoy the event, but allow enough time & planning for all involved.
1. Will there be play-off tickets for MN sporting events? Please monitor Yammer for up-to-date information on each MN Sports team and the potential for play off tickets. Venue owners will post updates to Yammer and send out an email to retirees.
