Hello 3M Club Members!
It is important to get information out to you regarding the upcoming spin-off of HealthCare from 3M.
3M Club of the US, Inc made the decision to include all ParentCo and Solventum employees in 2024.
Decisions on how to move forward in 2025 will be made as more information becomes available.
Solventum Membership Dues
Attention! Action needed by Solventum employees!
The board of the 3M Club of St. Paul discovered that automatic club dues were not taken from Solventum employee checks in January. We will have a grace period here as we review and update our member lists, but you will need to pay membership dues in order to continue to participate in 3M Club of St. Paul events and purchase tickets.

Remember membership to the 3M Club of St. Paul is only open at this time to 3M employees and retirees and Solventum employees.

SOFTBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Deadline to Register is Monday, April 1
Season Info:
• Games will be held on Thursday evenings – Softball season starts May 9, 2024
• All games are played at Goodrich Fields – 1960 N St Paul Rd, Maplewood MN 55109
• All teams will play 14 weeks of double headers plus 1 week of tournament playoff
• Scorebooks and Balls are provided (teams to provide backup balls)
• Games will NOT be played on: 05/23, 07/4, and 08/29
• Roster forms and signed waivers are due by Friday, April 26
• You can register as a team or as an individual looking to join a team
Registration Fees:
• Men’s League Registration Fee: $1,050 (This assumes 8 teams. Fees will be finalized after registration closes.)
• *** $75 discount for teams with 6 or more 3M Club Members ***
• League fees are due prior to the first game. Payment links will be sent to Managers via email.

SAND VOLLEYBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
Deadline to Register is Monday, April 15
3M Club Sand Volleyball League will play on Tuesdays, beginning on May 7, and going thru August 13
· Depending on the number of teams, we may play double headers, or single sets against multiple teams
· All games will be played at Lions Park in Lake Elmo. 11320 Upper 33rd St. N., Lake Elmo, MN 55042
· Schedules will be posted by April 30
· Payment for the season must be received by no later than May 6. I will provide a payment link to the Captains once it has been set up.
· There will be one league this year.
· Teams will keep score on their own and will update the score sheet after each match.
· Teams will also call violations (touching the net, lifts, double hits, etc.) on your honor or can be questioned by the captain of the opposing team. If there’s a disagreement, teams will replay the point.
· League fees will be $50 per team regardless of 3M Club Membership status. This will cover the cost of equipment.

Sports Ticketing
In this section, you’ll find opportunities to attend local sporting events, such as the MN Wild, MN Timberwolves, MN Twins and other professional/semi-professional sports in the Twin Cities.
Please note that despite measures to mitigate the transmission of COVID 19, total elimination of risk of exposure and infection to COVID-19 is currently not possible. Therefore, when attending any 3M Club sponsored or endorsed event, all attendees must assume the risk and liability for any exposure to COVID-19 and any related loss, liability, or injury incurred at any of these events at all times. Refunds will only be given in the event a performance/game is cancelled.
MN Twins
MN Twins 2024 season and group ticketing:
3M Club of St. Paul continues with our access to season tickets at Target Field for the regular season. We have our same seats – four tickets in section 113, row 5, and four tickets in section 11, row 8. Ticket pricing is dependent on MLB’s designated pricing structure (based off of game date/opponent) that we’ve defined as value, select and premium games. Please contact Beth Peterson at bpeterson3@solventum.com if you would like to see this.
SEASON TICKETS: The random drawing was held on February 12. Any remaining available tickets after the drawing will be pushed out via direct emails to retirees and on our 3M Club of St. Paul Viva Engage page on a weekly basis. Tickets must be paid for with a debit/credit card or an ACH bank transfer via Square. Tickets are transferred electronically to the email address provided by you. You will need an account linked to this email on the MLB Ballpark app in order to access the tickets.
In the event of postseason play, only those who have purchased MN Twins tickets will be invited to enter the drawing for a chance to purchase postseason tickets.

If you are going with 3M Health Care, you are still eligible to purchase and use tickets after hard spin.
GROUP TICKETS: We have multiple group ticketing events for the 2024 season as well which provide a different price points and experiences. Please select the game you are interested in attending to complete the form and once your 3M Club of St. Paul membership is verified, you will be sent an invoice for payment. The sign-ups for group events close once all of the tickets are sold or at approximately three weeks prior to the event day when I need to provide final numbers. MN Timberwolves
New and exciting changes coming to 3M Club’s offerings for Timberwolves Games.
3M Club will now be offering tickets to Twolves games in CLUB TI. These tickets include food, beverages, wine, and beer. Seats are in the same level as our 3M Club suite was, but just the opposite side. Doors open 1 hour before tipoff during the week and 1.5 hours on weekend games. This is a great time to get to the Club early and enjoy the great amenities.

Volunteer Opportunities
Help out the kids at the Conway Center!
The Conway Center (located a couple blocks from the campus) is looking for help with the kids afterschool programs from 3-6pm. You can be there the whole time or just an hour, whatever you can give.
There is a variety of needs like homework help, crafting, food distribution, playing sports, technology (UX, design) etc. They need 1:1 help or they welcome groups to lead the kids through activities.

- 3M Club Board of Directors is made up of all Volunteers. We are all full time 3Mers. Please be patient with us and make sure to read all details when emails and Viva Engage posts are sent to decrease any extra communication that tends to happen. When in doubt, email.
- Membership
- 3M Club Membership? Offerings posted on Viva Engage and in the Newsletter are for 3M Club members. If you are not a 3M Club member or are unsure of your membership, please check your January 3M paycheck to see if money was taken out for yearly 3M Club Dues.
- Enjoy volunteering? We’re always looking for help at our various events and down the line may have openings on the 3M Club Board. Fill out this FORM if you are interested in the various volunteering events.
- Ticketing
- How do tickets get distributed? Tickets will be made available two ways; 1. Random Drawing 2. Direct Purchase. Most concert and events will be put to a random drawing first, and then opened up for direct purchase only after all members who had expressed interest in the event have had the opportunity to purchase tickets.
- How are 3M Club tickets priced? Tickets are priced at the incurred cost to 3M Club plus a small percentage to help cover credit card fees. The goal is to provide the lowest possible cost while also ensuring the financial stability of the 3M Club.
- What is the benefit of purchasing tickets through 3M Club? Most ticketing services (e.g., Ticketmaster or AXS) charge 15-20% in extra fees on top of the cost of the ticket. 3M Club also provides a direct contact for ticket support to resolve issues. Through our contracts with the Target Center and Xcel Center, 3M Club also provides an opportunity to experience a premium event experience in a suite that most members would not be able to have on their own.
- Did the drawing for concert tickets happen? You will receive an email from the Venue owner only if you have WON tickets. If you did not win tickets, then you will not be contacted. If for some reason there are extra tickets, then the venue owner will reach out to those who put in a request. Also watch Yammer for last minute ticket updates.
- What are my odds of being able to purchase tickets to the events I want? Odds can very greatly from event to event based upon demand but all members who enter a drawing are given equal odds of purchasing the ticket. 3M Club has a written process for randomizing an entry list.
- What happens to any extra tickets to concerts & sporting events? Last minute tickets need to be purchased by a 3M Club Member. Non-3M Club members can attend these events. Prices for tickets will not be discounted.

- • All games are played at Goodrich Fields – 1960 N St Paul Rd, Maplewood MN 55109
- • All teams will play 14 weeks of double headers plus 1 week of tournament playoff
- • Scorebooks and Balls are provided (teams to provide backup balls)
- • Games will NOT be played on: 05/23, 07/4, and 08/29

- 3M Club Sand Volleyball League will play on Tuesdays, beginning on May 7, and going thru August 13
- · Depending on the number of teams, we may play double headers, or single sets against multiple teams

- · Schedules will be posted by April 30
- · Payment for the season must be received by no later than May 6. I will provide a payment link to the Captains once it has been set up.
- · There will be one league this year.
- · Teams will keep score on their own and will update the score sheet after each match.
- · Teams will also call violations (touching the net, lifts, double hits, etc.) on your honor or can be questioned by the captain of the opposing team. If there’s a disagreement, teams will replay the point.

- In this section, you’ll find opportunities to attend local sporting events, such as the MN Wild, MN Timberwolves, MN Twins and other professional/semi-professional sports in the Twin Cities.

- MN Twins 2024 season and group ticketing:
- 3M Club of St. Paul continues with our access to season tickets at Target Field for the regular season. We have our same seats – four tickets in section 113, row 5, and four tickets in section 11, row 8. Ticket pricing is dependent on MLB’s designated pricing structure (based off of game date/opponent) that we’ve defined as value, select and premium games. Please contact Beth Peterson at bpeterson3@solventum.com if you would like to see this.
- SEASON TICKETS: The random drawing was held on February 12. Any remaining available tickets after the drawing will be pushed out via direct emails to retirees and on our 3M Club of St. Paul Viva Engage page on a weekly basis. Tickets must be paid for with a debit/credit card or an ACH bank transfer via Square. Tickets are transferred electronically to the email address provided by you. You will need an account linked to this email on the MLB Ballpark app in order to access the tickets.
- In the event of postseason play, only those who have purchased MN Twins tickets will be invited to enter the drawing for a chance to purchase postseason tickets.

- New and exciting changes coming to 3M Club’s offerings for Timberwolves Games.
- 3M Club will now be offering tickets to Twolves games in CLUB TI. These tickets include food, beverages, wine, and beer. Seats are in the same level as our 3M Club suite was, but just the opposite side. Doors open 1 hour before tipoff during the week and 1.5 hours on weekend games. This is a great time to get to the Club early and enjoy the great amenities.

- Help out the kids at the Conway Center!
- The Conway Center (located a couple blocks from the campus) is looking for help with the kids afterschool programs from 3-6pm. You can be there the whole time or just an hour, whatever you can give.
- There is a variety of needs like homework help, crafting, food distribution, playing sports, technology (UX, design) etc. They need 1:1 help or they welcome groups to lead the kids through activities.

Most concert and events will be put to a random drawing first, and then opened up for direct purchase only after all members who had expressed interest in the event have had the opportunity to purchase tickets.
- How are 3M Club tickets priced? Tickets are priced at the incurred cost to 3M Club plus a small percentage to help cover credit card fees. The goal is to provide the lowest possible cost while also ensuring the financial stability of the 3M Club.
- What is the benefit of purchasing tickets through 3M Club? Most ticketing services (e.g., Ticketmaster or AXS) charge 15-20% in extra fees on top of the cost of the ticket. 3M Club also provides a direct contact for ticket support to resolve issues. Through our contracts with the Target Center and Xcel Center, 3M Club also provides an opportunity to experience a premium event experience in a suite that most members would not be able to have on their own.
- Did the drawing for concert tickets happen? You will receive an email from the Venue owner only if you have WON tickets. If you did not win tickets, then you will not be contacted. If for some reason there are extra tickets, then the venue owner will reach out to those who put in a request. Also watch Yammer for last minute ticket updates.
- What are my odds of being able to purchase tickets to the events I want? Odds can very greatly from event to event based upon demand but all members who enter a drawing are given equal odds of purchasing the ticket. 3M Club has a written process for randomizing an entry list.
- What happens to any extra tickets to concerts & sporting events? Last minute tickets need to be purchased by a 3M Club Member. Non-3M Club members can attend these events. Prices for tickets will not be discounted.
- Didn’t get your tickets for a game? Please make sure to reach out to your venue owner in enough time in case of technology issues. Life happens, we want you to enjoy the event, but allow enough time & planning for all involved.
- Will there be play-off tickets for MN sporting events? Please monitor Yammer for up-to-date information on each MN Sports team and the potential for play off tickets. Venue owners will post updates to Yammer and send out an email to retirees.
- Target Center Concerts – 3M Club no longer has a suite at Target Center. Due to this, there are no perks given to 3M Club for any Target Center events or concerts. Please do your due diligence and purchase tickets yourself for this location.
